BOB TV 2: TIDE

Last year, we launched our prototype website with an animation about the fire of Nantwich in 1581 and what it meant for the town’s bears. This new post sees the Box Office Bears team discussing “where do animals belong in early modern England?”

The team introduce a little about the interdisciplinary research of the project, bringing together archaeology, archives, and performance, and think about what evidence we can use to follow the journeys and experiences of animals some 400 years in the past. Bears soiling the highways? Recovering the diets of Elizabethan dogs?
